iPod\ iPhone compatibility

Check out our iPod\ iPhone compatibility chart here: www.pure.com/products/ipod-compatibility/

iPhone:

All PURE products with an iPod dock will allow you to plug in, charge and control an iPhone, however some PURE products are 'Made for iPod' compliant (rather than 'Works With iPhone' compliant) so you may receive a warning message when docking the iPhone. This does not stop it working though. PURE products that are not 'Works With iPhone' compliant may also exhibit the 'dit-ditty-dit-ditty-dit' noise if the phone rings. Check your PURE product’s feature set to see whether it is 'Works With iPhone' compliant.

Docking adapters: Your iDock comes supplied with all iPod docking adapters that are not originally supplied with the iPod device. If your docking adapter is not included with your iDock product then it would have been supplied with your iPod if applicable. If you have lost your docking adapter supplied with you iPod then you can order a replacement directly from the Apple website here: http://store.apple.com

Call handling while iPhone is docked to iDock products

If you are listening to audio played by your docked iPhone on your iDock device and you receive a call, you will notice the audio playback mutes, and you will hear your iPhone ring.

If you are not in iPod mode (for example DAB mode) and you receive a call, the iDock audio will not be muted and the iPhone will still ring.

To answer any call received while your iPhone is docked, you should remove the iPhone to answer the call s the phone microphone may be obscured if you try to take the call using the speaker phone.
